Possible transmission issue

I am interested in hearing about the " NEW " software .
Make sure you get all paper work and documentation . If its a new technical service bulletin , there are a couple hundred members here at Tacoma world waiting for you to post it up at this site .

Now if for some reason they sent you home without any explanation of whats been done to your truck . We all know those technicians hate placing new stickers under the hood of your truck with a new ecm update

They did give me the service bulletin. Ill get it and post a picture of it on this thread. I spoke to them again he said they wipped the memory clean and added the new software and drove it and said it was fine. THey also did say that there are a lot of people out there that do not like the way the gen 3s shift. I told him if anything is to happen to this trans in any way that has to do with the complaints i have brought up to them then it is on their heads not mine. He agreed and said regardless if anything happens to it I will be fine because the truck is sitting on a 100000 mile all around warranty. Then I was told I should replace my tires cause they suck....What a douche lol

 

And you only have 3000 miles on the truck and one of his recommendations was to replace the tires .
I agree that he sounds like a douche . I would be pissd !!!
Make them buy you some fresh rubber .

UPDATE ON 5K SEVICE.......vehicle dropped off at 8AM, shuttle back home. They called at 1:30 saying all complete. Shuttle pick up & ride back to dealer. Tranny fluid was good. Did a refresh for the tranny issues. Did not duplicate the squeaky noise from front end. On the drive home I did notice a big difference as how the tranny was shifting, more positive with no hunting or hesitation. And no noise or thuds on downshift. As far as the front squeak I will listen to see if it gets louder and if it occurs more often.
