Could have gone better I messed up a measurement for my auxiliary battery and inverter so I have to moved the passenger side box over 1/2 inch then make an additional cut and I should be good to go. More pictures to come but so far I'm out 56 dollars for plywood. Not bad I suppose. I made the lids for the cubby holes into three sections so they can be removed to place a jack or jack stand on if needed. Also the whole platform is removable so it does not have to stay in all the time.

These set ups sure make setting up camp a lot easier. Off the ground and dry. :)

Thanks, I think it will help a lot too. I have enough left over wood to make a legless table so that should be nice too!

Last mock up before Inmake the big cut. I learned a lot of what not to do next time. Overall it is comfortable and functional.

Used brackets and extra pieces of plywood that I cut to act as braces.they serve two purposes one it keeps the boxes from moving and second it helps keep the sleeping platform up.

Box on the left is hollow and I can strap my rifle case in. Box on the right has three storage areas one will be for a battery and inverter to run solar lights with and charge cell phone etc.
