I have a 4-pack as well. This is my 1st trip to Loveland this season. Looking good up there.

 

Today was as good as it gets inside the resort. 2 feet of new snow, puking all day and all the surrounding lifts went on wind hold. 6 of us saw 3 other people while having a private lift for 3 hours. Hard to beat the country club!

Hey friends heading to bend in a week with some buddies, going to be riding bachelor for the entire week of the 22nd. Anyone want to meet up and show us around the mountain and have some brews?

 

I still need to get to Bend. Heading to SLC on Wednesday. Hope to hit multiple ski areas.

went to camelback last weekend to learn how to ski. never skiied before. my gf roommate was ski instructor there for years so she tough me and my gf how to ski on bunny slope. picked it up quick and was on begginer and partial blue slopes by end of the day, fell couple times but nothing bad at all. now looking to get my own stuff instead of renting. maybe ill try snowboarding next

 

Just got back from Steamboat. It was fantastic. Steamboat Powdercats.

 

Buy boots before anything else! Most important. Get a good pair and have someone fit you. Boots are your most important piece of gear.

 

Yeah rentals fit ok but some parts had pressure and had some dicomfort deff need to find one that fit perfect
What are good brands? See salomon often or brands are pretty much same? Is more expencive better or just like normal footware it it $30 fit great then why spend more?

 

Here is the weird thing about brands - they all fit differently. Very differently. With boots you cannot go for looks. You buy what fits you right without the pressure points. You may see a very cool looking pair of blue boots, but the ones that are bright orange are the ones that fit perfect. Go with the fit.

 

First time on his board was at 10 months and this is at 13. If he can walk he can ride right? He loves it but for short periods of time.


He will be going with us to Switzerland in a week. Hope the plane ride goes good.

First order placed today, for the regular bindings, boots, (a pair of shoes that were too good a deal to pass up), beacon, probe, poles, and ski straps. 650 shipped. That leaves the back pack, bibs and mittens, board (when it goes back in stock), and my stupid expensive touring bindings


It better be an epic pow year again or imma be pisssssed
