Light bar suggestions

Im debating between 30" on bumper or 20"below grill(amber lights). which location would put out better lighting output further away?

For a roof mounted light bar (52", I guess) what mounting options do I have is I don't want to drill holes in the roof? I've seen some that bolt on the inside of the door frames but I don't know where to buy them.

 

What ultimately decides if you're gonna use a stealth mount in the lower bumper instead of a flush mount? I understand not wanting to cut out the plastic, bUT it seems like most folks end up with aftermarket bumpers anyway. If not, it shouldn't be a huge problem commiting to a lightbar there. I'm just trying to decide which direction to go. It seems like output will be maximised by mounting it flush.

 

I would say basically that. That if you do plan on getting an aftermarket bumper, and want to make a few bucks selling your stock bumper, then stealth mount it. Otherwise, just cut the bastard. Ha. Or, sell it with the lightbar. Or say it's "light bar ready."
I'm not sure about 2nd gens, but first gens, the valence isn't a whole lot to replace. If you were to sell the truck and wanted to keep your light bar, or whatever. Either way, flush mount looks way better imo. And yes, stealth mounting it will take away some spread especially if using a combo beam. 4d/5d would be better suited for stealth mounting too.
