Help diagnosing metallic noise

I had my catalytic converter replaced about a month due to a CEL I had this rattle before and was hoping this sound would be fixed also but its still here. Now im trying unsuccessfully to find what it is. Id love some insight if anyone has some

Exhaust hitting / rattling against something metal? Heard a lot of wind noise but thought I heard something like that in the background.

 

Is this noise happening only when you accelerate? I have the same noise and have been trying to hunt it down without success.

 

I could hear it but, I can't get anything outta the video.

If I understand what you wrote, you had one of the sounds before & after the converter was changed (I bet that wasn't cheap).

Do you have access to a GoPro? Can you put it on the underside of the truck and attempt to narrow the source?

 

As far as i can tell/hear yes. When i let off the gas it seems to go away

Yeah so i had this before i replaced the cat (was almost hollowed so it needed it) and was hoping it mightve been related to it. I will try and find a friend to let me borrow their gopro or find a way to rig up a camera today.

 

I'm in mud and rocks daily it's just part of how whatever my DD is used. I get rocks EVERWHERE...they make the crappiest sound when trapped between any heat shield and whatever it's saving.

 

Think i may have found it. The head shield on the headers had a missing bolt and would rattle when i hit it. Ill go for a ride after i eat here

 

Nice, that very well could be the source.
