Tacoma 2008

I own a 2008 Tacoma. I use it for light work around the farm. If I put the truck in 4 wheel high or 4 wheel low, the truck will only back up approximately 30 feet before the truck locks up. The tires and wheels are all OEM. This has caused a problem several times if I am backing up to a hay trailer in a muddy lot. Any suggestion as to the problem or solving it.

Readers!! do no hook up a trailer to the OEM bumper. The bumper will fall off because of the light gauge metal Toyota made the bumper support bracket $300.00
