Installed DD inside LEDs & lost the door dimmer function ?

I installed some Diode Dynamics LEDs 2 map lights and the dome 1 st problem was it blew my fuse small 7.5 replaced it then I lost the door dimmer function aka lights stay on all the time will not dim when door is shut have to manually shut them off any ideas to what could be causing this ? Is there a door dimmer fuse I could have blown ?

Replace them with the stock bulbs and see if there's still an issue. Can you link us to the lights you bought?

 

It's common with LEDs, they still dim but it is much fast and not as apparent

 

No these stay on full powered fully bright

 

I never could understand LED on the inside, .....at night, while driving , I would think it would blind the shit out of you and ruin your night vision for the road. To each their own I suppose.
