So I recently blew my 4.0 in my Tacoma (cylinder rod bearing(too much dirt in the engine(Nonstop off-roading:mudding:))) decided to swap the engines myself instead of dishing out $1000-1700 to a shop. Anyway there's a coolant pipe that runs along the top of the heads and under the manifold that as far as I can tell is wedged in there real good. Before I started bending shit wanted to see if anyone has had this problem and has any tips :fingerscrossed:

That tube is bolted to the engine block, don't try to just pull it out. I don't know if you can remove it with the heads on.

I've already taken out the bolts and I wouldn't have any problem with just undoing the head and taking it out but it's putting it back on my new engine that's the problem. As soon as I crack the seal it's bye bye warranty

Once the bolts are out the only thing holding it in is the O ring. Lube up with liquid wrench and it should pull out.
