I have a lock on my hi lift. You can kind of see it in this picture. I could care less about this shovel though haha!

if a thief wants something, they will get it. Depends on how bad they want it. Goes for wheels, trucks, stuff in the bed, or stuff in your house..

You can get locking knobs. I think OP talks about them somewhere. But I got one off Amazon.

They're just some regular black cinch straps cut to length and some D rings I mounted to the bed. I think I got everything at home Depot

I added C-50 scuba tanks. I use them to fill my pneumatic air rifles but also have a regulator setup that I can fill a tire or attach a blow nozzle to blast dirt out of the truckbed.

Finally fabbed up some of my own. Used 2in aluminum flat bar instead. Just need to get the spacer washer and done.

Used @Benson X method. Came out good. All the bracket measurements were bang on OP. Thanks!

That's the first time I've seen someone with a pick axe mounted in their rig...!

3 posts up @EdinCincinnati has one. And a big Fiskars boner too :thumbsup:

I wish I had a canopy to keep my tools mounted like that. But the constant back and forth between rain and sun in Southern Oregon would destroy them in a heart beat.

Doh! I didn't notice it because the black blended in. I was just trying to think about what kind of situation you'd find yourself needing a pick axe but then again, who knows?

My OCD is pleased with how organized your bed is. I need to do something similar but since I have a CBI BedRack and not a shell I wouldn't keep everything in all the time. But the quick fists are a MUST! I used to use the Axe/Shovel holders on my Yakima basket and those things are a major PIA!
