Exactly!!!! Those Sothern bells are dangerous..... but defiantly worth satisfying

OP... sounds like you get to save some mileage on your Taco and just take her ride..

My ( 4.5 years senior than I wife ) makes comments like : too bouncy, or wobbly over road also a bit tough to climb up into the stock cab. Also doesn't like my all around tinted windows. She can't even open the unlocked Tonneau, a push button. ☔

man, I get that she's your wife and you love her, but how in the world do you deal with the complaining? My wife just doesn't do this (my ex of 10 years did constantly) and I realize I've got a rare gem. I just couldn't handle it.

She wanted and we did take her f150.
    She definitely wanted to go.
She has never liked the Tacoma. Since day one of looking for one she told me she did not like them. She wanted me to get a 4 runner or a full size. Looked at 4runners for quite a while, and if it had manual transmission, I would have got a Quicksand pro.

I did that with a previous girlfriend.
She was allergic to my dog, so I got rid of her and got a second dog :)

My girlfriend said the same about mine since she's used to her dads f350.
But she hates her dad as he's a piece of shit and left when she was 7 so she's happy mine doesn't remind her of him. Just says its much smaller.

No, I am good to my wife. I do things with her that I dont want to do and she does things with me she does not want to do. Its a give and take. If I am going on a long trip like on a vacation we use her highlander. I use my truck for everyday driving and going off on hunting trips. If I am going on a hunting trip thats 10 hrs or so away I will take my truck. Its up to her if she wants to go or not but she knows I am going in the truck and if she doesnt want to ride then she can stay at home but I will be going. I dont think she wants me to use her highlander to hunt out of. I see you are a fellow Mississippian. I live about 2 hrs south of you along the Mississippi river between Greenville and Vicksburg

I get it bud. We would usually take her truck on a trip like this. I wanted to see how the 3.5 and tranny was going to handle the hills of Alabama, and also wanted to take it on the sand and see how it did. Plus I have the factory Tonneau so we would have had some security for our gear.
We are headed back now and I'm just relaxing while she drives. I want to drink a beer out the chest in the back but better not. Will be passing close to u on the way north, going right through Greeneville.

I don't let her anywhere near my truck. She has her own car. She can get herself wherever she needs to go.

My wife loves mine. She's only driven it a couple times but she was like a little kid behind the wheel.
We mostly take my truck when we go places and I always drives cuz she'd rather be driven around. :)
She has a 2016 NX Fsport that's really fun to drive too but the truck gets taken 80% of the time.

Something tells me it's less about the comfort and more about the fact that you didn't adhere to her wishes. Or atleast that's my experience with these sort of matters but I digress.

Could it be more clear, she does not like the truck- she adhered to his wishes, and that is a good thing. My wife is like that too, so I consider myself lucky- btw, hello from New Jersey...

@schmack b not really... kinda hard to listen to her bitch about being uncomfortable when she sleeps the whole time. I just drove it from Florida to Beaver Creek Colorado and back and she slept all except for gas stations and a few stops in between. And for the stupid questions women ask... still trying to figure that part out.

My wife loves the new Tacoma much more than my previous Subaru Outback.
