Okay X-Runner guys, you know it's true, the other Taco drivers that drive Taco's that look like every other ho-hum Taco on the road give us funny looks! I have had my XR for about 3 weeks now and I've had people walk up and ask where I had my truck customized. They had no idea this is a factory truck!
And... I do try to pass other Taco's on the road while revving my engine to about 5 grand in 3rd gear just to get attention!! :)

Nice street trucks, but same driveline. Too bad they were not actually powered up!

I just realized I never answered the OP
Personally, I never had anyone come up to me and ask about the customization. But when people ask what I drive, most of them didn't even know that the Toyota had a "sport truck" version of the Tacoma. So, I educate them on what I know. I don't think they come up to me, in general, cuz I'm a chick driving a truck and not a fellow bro they can talk story with  lol. But, that's great that you AND your wife drive stick rwd vehicles! btw, where ya located? @Timmystaco

    Like, so many.
I actually just saw my first XR this week. I wouldn't have even known what it was if not for this site. They must be pretty rare, yeah?
