    I have a friend who has tried....:thumbsup: It turns off all of the electronic nannies, so it's just like a pre-computer truck on loose surfaces. The open diff does make it a little less that perfect, but I think it will get your friend where he wants to be.

    I have the same switch in prep for the abs mod, what size drill bit did you use? I intend to put the switch in the same place, did you need to remove the plastic or were you able to reach around to seat the switch?

    I used a 1/2" drill bit. I didn't have to remove the plastic piece. I just put my hand behind it. :thumbsup:

    thanks Crom, this mod is excellent! im not happy with the switch i found at the local parts house (i like stuff to look more OEM), so i just ordered this to replace it, if i understand correctly these will snap right into my two empty dash slots...
