Just because you can doesn't mean you should. Get a full size if you plan to tow regularly. This isn't a great tow vehicle.

I probably did 7000lbs of sod with my 2 day old truck stock. I didn't know any better and I didn't have pics to prove it so :crapstorm:

Put her to work after the 2nd day. Photo credit: my wife. Wish she took picks of the taco hauling 2 pallet of sod. But she liked this more since the bed already got dirty.

my towing chores really only consist of pulling a 22 ft grady white up a ramp outta the water in fall, & puttin that same boat back in in spring. as far as the travel it would consist of a couple of miles on Flat jersey roadway. piece of cake I would presume but just was curios of my parameters. have to get specks on boat now. but thanx to all!!!

No way would I tow 6800 lbs with this truck. I only pull a trailer with my Polaris ranger on it and as far as I am concerned thats all the weight I want to pull. I did not buy this truck to tow very much and if I thought I needed to do a lot of towing and especially around 6800 lbs, I would have bought a full size.

Just pulled my Polaris Ranger over the hills here in Western NC to get it worked on. The truck did it just fine, but I wouldn't want to do that very often. I think I got about 12.5 MPG each way on the 25 mile trip.

Definitely would not be my tow truck of choice if I had to do it very often.
