Will an extended warranty cover a broken skid plate?

My financing guru/snake-oil salesman assured me everything between the bumpers was covered. But not the bumpers themselves.

Factory installed skid plate? Was it on the vehicle at the time of purchase? Or is this one of the under carriage skid plates underneath?

I'd assume if you damage a skid plate it like damaging your bumper. Not covered.

    No more Turd-gen :)
im not totally sure I would tell the dealer about it.
my thoughts are that if you take it in a ask to have it warrantied ( which I doubt they will do ) it may open up the can of worms that you "abuse" your truck. again just my opinion but id probably not worry about it or buy one yourself and keep it on the hush hush
