    Why is the 09+ overhead compass so much more expensive/rare? They look essentially the same as the 05-08 which go for $100 all day long. I can barely find an 09+ and when I do they are in the $300 range, not worth it.

    I understand they aren't compatible, I just don't understand why one is so much more rare/expensive.

    Why can't you use an 05-08? Isn't it the same?

    Visually yes, but electronically they changed something in 09. Haven't been able to find any details on exactly what's different, only a few people who said they were able to get it to work.
