Yes. I've been MIA. Constantly working over here, but nothing really exciting to show. Wires in boxes, water lines through the walls, and the HVAC is almost done.

The basement is wired and the home run shots are in the panel. 75% of the upstairs is wired minus the big stuff (dryer, oven, stove, floor recep.). Still have to branch out to the garage and mud room.

I know there is over 1,000' of wire in the basement. I pulled the last shot off that spool today. I still need to run to small strings of lights down there for the mechanical area and shop area, but that is it.

Set the second (downstairs) unit yesterday. I still have to tape up all the runs for the downstairs and cut in the runs for the upstairs, but all ductwork is run.

Today I ran more wires. I should have studied electric work, it's kind of fun, lots of thinking. The goal for tomorrow is getting the basement 100% done.

Not thrilled about how the supply and return runs ended up but it really is not a big deal.

We can cross the HVAC rough in off the list. Finished that today.

So close to being finished with the wiring. Two more home runs and the under cabinet lights. I am going to bore holes in the wall through the basement and run the service cables in some conduit under the slab in the garage/mud room area. i am going to do the line sets for the HVAC the same way. There will not be any exposed wires or line sets. There will only be two feet or so out the wall right behind the units. When I get all the mechanicals done and the rough in inspection, I should be doing siding and drywall at the same time. That will be a huge step. Then I get to have fun trimming and putting the floors down.

Hooray. I have filled my water lines up for the air test finally. Holding nicely at 100psi.

Stairwell lights I had ordered finally came in, so I will be wiring them up today. I will also be putting in the floor outlets (that I don't want, but the Boss does).

    Closer everyday.

    Now this is a drill:

Core bored a few holes through the walls to run my service cables.

Going with a 400amp service

This is what my meter base and service panels look like. Meter base in the middle and 2, 200amp boxes:

Going to run the service cables and line sets under the slab in the mud room to get from the basement to the outside.
