    Hello All,

I am doing research on a new Tacoma. "Lord Willing", I will be able to purchase one in the next few months. I know that I am starting a little early, but I want to get my research out of the way now. I have found some very good posts on here concerning prices for 2017. The truck I want is a DC, TRD Sport, Aut, 4x4, 5ft bed, Magnetic gray with the Premium & tech pack.

I saw some posts on here where some have talked dealers down a little over 4k. That is awesome.

    GOD BLESS,

    Lord Willing

Welcome to TW. Lots of info to help with figuring out what is right for you. I ask one thing of you during your search. Test drive, multiple times. Please don't be one of the folks who figures out that they don't fit well in their brand new truck and end up having to sell/trade it shortly after purchasing it.

Thanks all, I have a little confession to make. I spent 18.5 years in the car business as a salesman, finance manager and sales manager. I know how the game works-pretty much. I have been out of the automobile business for a little over 6 years now. The problem is that I do not know anyone at a Toyota dealership and am not sure what the mark-up is on a new truck. I spent the last 14.5 years that I was in the business at a used car store. It is awesome to have this group to bounce thoughts off of and to see how well others have done with their purchase. I just have to be careful and take it slow. You know what they say, a salesman is the easiest person to sell.
