In addition to the "SoCal Truck Spotting" thread, these photos are floating around elsewhere on TW, but I'm unsure where...

The owner of this silver 2007 Tacoma was fishing for sharks right on the shoulder of the PCH, and he told me the damage to his Tacoma was caused by a drunk driver as well. He takes good care of the truck. Aside from the obvious body damage, this truck was quite clean. This particular truck is a 5-speed with over 100K original miles. The owner told me the A/C needed a charge but he didn't bother to fix it because he never used the A/C.

I'm friends with a guy named Randy who has intellectual disabilities and is as passionate about bikes as I am about trucks and HVAC. He does not drive because of his disabilities, but he does have his own place, and he has close to 100 operational bikes. He rides a different one everyday, and he also has enough nonoperational bikes and parts to build about a dozen more operational bikes.

He's been bugging me for months to help me find out what type of bike this is, and I figured I'd start here.

Here's the bike. It has no name on it, nor does it have a serial number. I personally think it's a Schwinn.

Most insurance company's write them off after the estimate goes above 8k. You have to factor in the crumple zones they build into them now days. Many cars are built push the motor and transmission under the car when the front end hit.

This is why we all need train horns in our trucks. So when we see someone txt and driving, so we can scare the sssstuffff out of them

On St. Patrick's Day of this year, I encountered a DUI checkpoint for the first time ever, while driving home from work. I work at a bar, and as such I was probably one of the only people on the road that night driving home from a bar who had any business behind the wheel. I was totally sober, and the experience still terrified me. As a result of that one encounter, I'm afraid of what will happen if I get stopped while driving home tonight after drinking just ONE (1) of these...

Still drank it by the way!

Our locals use Tacos SR for traffic/parking control, nothing for patrol or UC however. Our beach patrols use 2nd Gen and also some wranglers.

I took this picture with my iPhone I believe in November 2016. My boss sent me to the bank to get some change, and this is what I encountered in the drive-thru.

I know you were joking, but considering what a Mercedes owner did to my truck in October 2015, I'd definitely consider more than a few Benz owners to be "riff-raff," LOL!

Almost bought a 335xi after coming back from Iraq, was between that and the Lexus IS350. Did I get either? No. Ended up buying a Tahoe because we needed 3 rows for 3 car seats since she was watching my daughter +2 toddlers and no way in hell I'm getting a minivan at 23 years old. Then needed truck for truck stuff so Tahoe got traded for Taco. Came back from England and she decided she needed AWD. Hey! The 335xi is AWD! "No I want a smallish SUV." Grrrrrr. I'll get another BMW some day..

Sometimes it takes a sad situation to bring a couple of guys who have been friends since high school, but haven't seen each other in over a year, back together.

One of my oldest friends and I have known each other since September 2006. I was in my senior year and he'd just started his sophomore year. We bonded over a shared love of cars and video games. Our friendship had way more than it's share of bumps, but we have now been friends for more than a decade.

Less than an hour ago (8:02PM), a mutual friend called me and I sent the call to voicemail because I was busy on TW. He texted me and told me that our friend's mother lost a long and courageous battle with stomach cancer and passed away this morning at the age of 61.

    Here's my Facebook post...
