I dont have room to compare since I never had the 5100's set at 2.5" with stock springs but with them set at 0" and the 885's, its still stiffer then when the truck was stock.

Yea, its not a huge difference...but it is a slightly smoother ride.

I have MTR's that are E rated so I feel ur pain. I think the reason its still so rough is because of the E rated tires. Wish I woulda went with D.

Just get 5100 1st notch with eibach springs just like my brothers truck!
You will still be in spec for alignment. He ordered a diff drop as well. cv's look great. No vibes and way cheaper than 3'' lift.
    =2.6'' lift
    He still has stock tires.

Hate to resurrect the dead but hopefully someone can answer some questions. Installing 5100's on my 2.7 Prerunner And will be adding about 120Lbs of weight to the front bumper. (Hidden winch mount and Smitty winch w/ synthetic line).
I wanna level out the truck by the end of this and don't want the added weight to increase the rake. I'm trying to keep it close to stock height so hoping for 1.5-2" of lift in the front. How would the OME springs stand up to this task compared to running stock springs? I would put the stock springs at 1.85 which would make the truck near level. But with the added weight I'm wondering if I'll be sagging again, plus loading the springs even more all the time. Might make for a shitty ride.
