Having same transmission flare when tranny is cold and shifting from 3rd to 4th. dealer had my truck for a week and said tech could not duplicate issue. this is my 5th purchase of Toyota product and never been disappointed with performance or dependability. should have researched this new truck before buying. getting nowhere with corp. transmission was low 3/4 quart. afraid that wear has caused valve body problem. thinking of getting rid of it and driving my 96 taco.

Sorry to hear about this, have you contacted Toyota Coprate yet? That seems to be an important step. I also keep encouraging people to reach out to Better business, highway safety, and maybe other media kinds of things. I believe yota will stand behind thier product, I just think folks need to push some to force thier hand.

    Good luck

Mine does this on occasion when cold, normally within the first half mile of driving. After that, it's fine. Does yours do it for an extended period of time? If not, I wouldn't worry about it for now.

My transmission was nearly two quarts low and I've had the shift enhancement TSB performed.

I have seen you post this multiple times; can you please provide a copy of your invoice with the TSB #? I am assuming this is still the second revision.

    Thanks.

Like I stated on the other threads, the TSB is T-SB-0077-16...... Its what he just gave me over the phone when I called them back today because it wasn't on my paperwork?????? Its is public and can be seen.
