Have you had an accident while having sound deadening done on your truck?

Today someone drove her vehicle into my 2016 DCSB, scraping/denting my truck from the front passenger fender all the way to the rear passenger fender . I got all of her pertinent information, and I have full coverage. The thing is, I have Dynamat applied to all of my doors (inner skin, door frame, interior panel).

My question is, did your/other party's insurance company deny any costs associated with the body shop replacing/reapplying your aftermarket sound deadening? This stuff isn't cheap, I can't exactly take it off the old door skin, and I'd rather not have to re-do all of the work myself.

Any input, thoughts, and opinions are welcome.

    Thanks :help:

PS, the icing on the cake is that my custom box from Mr Marv arrived today.. looks like that project will be put on hold :rain:

I would show the insurance the cost of the aftermarket. Best to have your body shop build it into the quote for labor. You'll have to probably re buy the deadner. I recommend rammat
