Nope. That's a good price for that job.

Just looked on line at a local parts store in my area, new but off brand $118 for the V6 version (radiator only).

Quick search on line shows average cost between high 2s to $750.

$100 for a radiator and it's not my favorite job to replace. 3 hours is a little steep but it's only money right.

If you can afford it, decent price......I prefer to work on mine, third party hands can screw things up...

That doesn't seem too bad as long as they used good parts and did good work.

Yea, it all depends on whether you got a good radiator or a Chinese 120 dollar one.(that's what Pep Boys pay for one from the radiator outlet houses) Not that the cheapo won't last for quite a while but they prob. marked it up quite a bit. That's how you pay for warranties.

Jeez, a Toyota replacement is 750? And they came with Harrisons. I'm not even fond of the originals but they seem to hold up pretty well.

Anyway, 450 isn't bad. If I ran a shop I'd prob. charge the same. It's expensive to run a small business.

That said, how easy is it to put a hole in a radiator?

It's the tanks that usually go bad, plastic. Cheap plastic+heat=splits
