Installed dakar leafs last week on my 07 taco. Noticed the bolts for the shackle that bolt to the frame are hitting the frame mount. To the point where they are rubbing on the mount. Making noise. Orignally they went bolt head in with threads facing the tire but theres no way to get the bolt in that way. So when i installed the leafs, i put the bolt head out toward the tire. Thinking how i can fix this situation without tearing the hole suspenion apart again. Im a noob at the install. Have intermediate mech skills.

You have to turn the bolt around. There's a reason it was installed that way to begin with

It may be possible to do it without taking off the U-bolts, but it will *definitely* need you to remove the front spring bolt and shackle to frame bolt. Once those two are off, see if you can jimmy the axle forward enough to pull the back of the spring down to work on. Maybe pull the axle forward with a ratchet strap or come-along, and pry the leaf down with a 2x4?
