You can file this under "middle-class, white guy problems" but it never ceases to irritate me.

So this is the first 4 door truck I've ever owned and don't get me wrong, I love it! What irritates me is unlocking the doors with the key fob.
I can't seem to ever get all 4 doors unlocked without pressing the unlock on the fob 4-5 times fast. You're supposed to hit it twice fast and all of them should unlock.
Maybe it's just me but, why the hell do I need an "option" to unlock one or all four? Seems to me it would make total sense to hit the "lock" or "unlock" on the fob only once and ALL the doors would respond.

Anyone heard of a mod to get the fob to unlock/lock all the doors with one press?

Never bothered me, my TL had that option of unlocking 1 door or all 4 doors. Think an aftermarket alarm would fix that.

to comment on the 1 door VS 4 door unlock, a possible suitation would be if someone is following you to your vehicle, then one tap will just unlock the drivers side preventing the person ( or persons ) from being able to enter the other doors.

    Just a thought.

Op, may want to change the battery in your fob. When you press the unlock button, you have about 2 seconds to press it again to unlock all doors. You shouldn't have to press it really fast to unlock all doors.

I like it only unlocking one door with one press. I'm usually by myself driving my truck so why would I want all doors unlocked.

Thanks for the input. I'll try the battery swap and see if that helps. Could just be my nervous twitch... :)

Not on my hand right now but recall that you can change in Techstream for one click to unlock all doors.

I think that is a customizable option in Techstream.

I was going to comment about this as well--you have 3 seconds in which to press the button twice, this actually is a rather long time (watch the second hand on a clock). Press the unlock button a bit more slowly and deliberately...
