On my third clutch pedal assembly installed by the dealership. The last install was completed under no new campaign, and dealer says there are no updated parts. Dealer installed new parts and packed pedal bushing with grease. However, as grease is pushed out over time the composite clutch arm is worn at the pivot point and wears, which causes play and noise. This truck is a 2015 with 24,000 miles. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this condition?

Mine is a 2015 4-cyl and I had the clutch TSB done over a year ago. It was great for a while but I hear creaking again, faintly, and the pedal travel is not as smooth as it should be. Been wondering what to do. I hate arguing with the dealers and having to get mad all the time. I'm tempted to take it apart myself and re-grease it. Very frustrating.

There's a write up on here - somewhere... I had the squeak, did the TSB, had the squeak come back. I have a jar of never-seize that has a brush attached to the lid and used that to lube the pivot point of the pedal and clutch rod. You could use an acid brush (type used to apply flux when sweating pipes) if you can't find the jar with the built in brush. Squeaks been gone for a year...

Edit: and there is a detailed thread. ^^^

Let me clarify, what i called the campaign is the TSB. I am going to stay on the dealer, so hopefully they will continue to push Toyota to fix the problem. At the very least, they build with a grease able fitting so it can be easily serviced.

All you have to do is rotate the rod. Squeak gone.

I gave the rod a crank with some small vice grips and the squeak has been gone for 6 months so far.
