For everyone who didn't have a factory installed cover, it appears the front rails near the cabin did not come with rubber plugs so when installing a tonneau cover, there is a gap on both sides. It appears there's rubber plugs you can buy post #149 (Tonneau Cover Reviews) but seems it's $60. Silicone is another option but trying for the cleanest look. What has everyone done to keep the water from coming in those 2 areas?

My TruXedo Lo Pro came with 2 square foam pieces that stick on the ends of the header rail ends.

Yes, I have installed those, but correct me if I'm wrong but that's the tailgate correct? I'm referring to the front near the cabin.

All I know is my tonneau cover came with 2 square stick on foam blocks that fill the gaps between the side rails and front bulk head header rail directly behind the truck cab.

    Have a good evening.

Just had an extang 2.0 installed on mine...they used that black sealant that is used for sealing windshields on mine...very clean and seal up well, and doesnt cost 60 bux.

Course, mines black, so your MMV

My Extang 2.0 came with those foams and clear instructions. Looks like a cheap fix they actually do the job. No leak whatsoever
