Blinker / Headlight Stalk Swap.... Anyone ever try this?

So like my pic says, I've got a 2012 Off Road and it comes with DTRL standard.... the problem is there is no option to turn them off on the stalk. They're always on!

I was wondering if it's possible to take a blinker stalk out of a 13-15 model that's got the OFF option on it and swap it out. Would this get me the desired results or is there more to the wiring under the dash?

Add blinker fluid. Problem solved...
