I did a LED conversion on brake lights, turn signals, and now getting hyper flashing, has anyone else dealt with this?
Installed resistors on front and rear, but still hyper flashing.

The turn signals are whats causing the problem. LED's don't have as much resistance as normal bulbs, so your truck thinks the bulb is burnt out. You need to add a resistor to your signal bulbs is you want to use them.

Yes, I have already installed resistors on them, and still getting hyper flashing. I was going to check all the connections on the resistors to see that there are not get in correct. Just wanted to see if anyone else has dealt with it.

just wire them correctly - you should be good to go. I had to add to my turn signals and it stopped hyperflashing

Search load resistors for hyper flashing. They make products that you can wire up quick and easy.

I was wondering what size resistor the OP added in ....since he added them and they are still flashing too fast. Maybe the resistors he added don't have enough resistance.... hard to wire them wrong and still have working blinkers...eh?

I had some flashing LED's. I ended up trashing them and buying better LED's. Corrected the issue. YMMV

I had the same thing. I went through 3 sets and finally went back to regular filament in the rear and left the front LED. Hyper flashing gone.

I'll have to do some research on the flasher relay used on these newer models but....I used to do modified flasher relays for the 1st gen trucks. If someone that is having the issue would like to send me a flasher relay to dissect, I can take a look at it to see if the same mod can be made. If anyone is interested, send me a PM and we can discuss.

Yea used them in the front and the back! Always had good luck with the JDMstar stuff.

You most likely wired the resistors wrong. Check the instructions again (I am not trying to be a jerk).

Does it matter which wires you splice the transistor in at? what type of resistor do I need? I bought 50W transistors, wired and still causing hyper-flashing. anyone else think of the reason for this?

The resistor connects in parallel to the bulb, but unlike wiring batteries or speakers in parallel a resistor does not have polarity. So one side of the resistor is on +12v the other is ground on wires going to LED. This is why heavy duty wattage resistors are required.

gorram, thanks for the picture of how it is wired. only thing I notice is that there are 3 wires for the light housing. not just 2. I assume as long as it run in parallel with the light it shouldn't matter right?

In that case one leg of resistor to ground wire that feeds bulb. The other to the +12v wire that is the flashing turnsignal part of light. The 3rd wire that you would not splice into would be the +12v constant running part of the light.
