I can't find a wiring diagram for the passenger kick panel and I'm trying to tap an acc power line to splice into.

Can anyone help me out with this.

My future CB radio thanks you.

    Simple.
    1. Add a fuse tap to the in-cab fuseblock in the driver footwell.
    2. Route wire from fuse tap behind center console stack to where you need it.

I second this. So many of the circuits in these trucks are controlled by the computer that I think it's easier and safer to keep your add on wiring separate.

I was hoping to avoid running a wire from diver to passenger.

I'm guessing you think it's difficult to route a wire from one side to the other?

It's not. With a fish tape you can actually get from one side to the other without removing anything. Five minutes tops.

It's also pretty easy to remove a couple panels so you can get in there and do a secure and clean install if you prefer.

No, i dont think its difficult, I just dont like removing panels if I dont have to and theres a wire to tap on the other side that will give me power to the CB rather than running a line across the cab. Plus I would want it neat and tucked away so it would prob take an hour or 2 to do it correctly. I thought tapping in would be a simple solution. Now if I was mounting on the diver side I would add a line all day. simple and no splice required.

Routing one side to the other behind the center stack without pulling a panel is about five minutes with a fish tape. Plenty of stuff to tiewrap to and keep the cable out of the way. I did that first day to route a USB cord from the ACC outlet to the phone mount on the drive side of the stack.

I don't know of a pax side wire I'd tap into for power. Might be one, don't know what it is, a lot of the stuff heading aft goes via the driver side channel since thats the side with the interior fuse block. If you start testing stuff be careful of the pax knee airbag.

You're also risking getting interference to your CB from whatever else would be drawing power on that line.
