I made the best of a bad situation. I received an item "not as described"

This is after prepping it by cleaning out any loose debris in and around the pleats.

This is what I chose to repair with. Salt, oil and temp resistant.

This after 1.5 coats. As you can see I just traced the pleats making sure to make to bead touch as I went along. Then went over everything with a perpendicular layer to make sure it's all sealed.

Smoothed it all out with a stick

I plan on cutting all excess with a blade and call it a day. I'll post later my fire retardant insulation
I wrapped the pipes with.

Well, had plans to get all my windows tinted/retinted today with a "higher" grade of 3M film that's supposed to block out 57% of the IR (which every bit helps here in AZ)...

But when I got home last night after being on the road for 3 days for work, found my master bathroom flooded because the valve on the toilet picked this week when I wasn't home to up and quit holding back water. Yay! Inch of standing water in the bathroom and about 50-60 square feet of carpet soaked on the other side of the wall in the living room.

Sooo... I'm waiting for the water recovery service to come set up fans and heaters as well as a plumber to assess the cause so I can put in a claim with insurances.
Deductible is $1,000 so *POOF!* there went any possibility of any more "involved" truck mods for the next couple months at least.

Yikes! So sorry to hear that! Home ownership has its moments, but it's a hell of a lot better than renting. That's a REALLY high deductable.

I finished my cheap little OBA system last night with front and rear outlets! came out pretty nice and the little air compressor pushes those lines to 120 PSI! spent about $50 total! What do you think?
