Calcite Mine is easy. Just a little rocky and rutted out in some areas where you'll just have to go at it with caution if you're new to offroading.

There's also Oriflamme Canyon that we could do to go in or out of Anza (it starts in Julian).

TDS is this weekend but some of us want to hit Anza in general.

Let's meet in Julian (from there it's about 30 until we're in Anza territory) at the library. There's a gas station next to it but it's probably smarter to fill up earlier when you're off the 15 (might be cheaper) and then just top off at the gas station nearby the library.
    __________

    Day: Saturday (March 3rd)
Meet: Julian library (1850 CA-78, Julian, CA 92036)
    Time: 8a
    VHF/UHF channel: 149.777
    __________

    Attending..
    - @Spvrtan (TW; 2nd-gen Tundra)
    - @jeprox (TW; 3rd-gen Tacoma)
    - @FreshMexicanTaco (TW)

    Maybe attending..
    - @synergy10 (TW)

Message me if you want to come.

We'll be hitting trails in Anza in both the North and South areas but starting up top.

We'll start with either one but it would be awesome to do Lower Coyote Canyon (Northwest corner of Anza) and/or Calcite Mine (Northeast corner near Truckhaven & TDS event).

If we finish either or both early, we could explore more of Ocotillo or take some pictures around the statues of Borrego Springs.

Around the middle of the run, we'll head South of the 78 toward Split Mountain, enter on Fish Creek wash, take a break near the wind caves, continue down the wash and do Sandstone Canyon (it's an out and back wash with a few obstacles to go over).

Before the next part, we could optionally do Broken Shaft Gulch if the other rigs are feeling lucky.

To end the day, we'll go up Diablo drop-off, Northwest on Arroyo Seco Del Diablo, Southeast on Arroyo Tapiado (mud caves if people want to break for a few minutes), Southeast on Vallecito Creek, and then South on Canyon Sin Nombre.

We'll be ending the day near the 8 and exit that way to the West. There's a gas station at the end but it's usually very pricey. If you have enough gas to dive down the 8 ~30 miles, gas is cheaper once we're in the city.

Juz arrived home. What a day this was. So many trails to do. Finally got my TRD Pro baptize with pin stripes from anza borrego. Now it's official. Lol. Afterwards drove out to TDS at truckhaven. Lots and lots of suvs of all kinds. After that gas up and did ocotillo wells. Thanks Kris for putting this together. Great trails of all kind. Here's our group.

Does anyone here have TFC? My mom does but her cable bill is going to be increased to like $220 a month. I'm researching other ways to get TFC, like get a cheaper cable/internet package and just get the set top box streaming subscription directly from TFC.
