I had a ranch primere on mine! Loved it! Great quality but had someone hit me head on yesterday and the cap slide forward, breaking all four corners. Passenger side of the cap hit the cab of the truck putting a good size dent in it Guy had no insurance so my insurance has to take care of it. Hoping they don't give me a hard time about replacing it!

Here are a few of Jefe, my 2016 TRD Off-Road. The shell is a SnugTop Sport Hi-Liner with the Sportsman package and windoors on both sides. Yes, the Hi-Liner may not look as, "cute," but it does give me just a smidge more space, handy when carrying all the junk for a family of four. With the Sportsman package, I could care less about the interior fishing rod holders, but the reinforced roof is what I wanted for frequently carrying boats on the roof.

Also, the same day I got the shell, I went to a body shop and got, "helicopter tape," clear protective film, installed on the top of the tailgate to keep the liftgate gasket from wearing through the paint. I highly recommend doing this, as this is my first truck not to have the paint worn down to the metal.

The Yakimas are easily removable, handy since this enables me to still fit into the parking garage at the airport when traveling for work. While I do not have anything mounted on them now, I do also have ditch mounts on the cab for cross bars as well.

The rest of the truck is mostly stock, although the tires are slightly oversize, LT265/75R16's (31.5") swapped from my 2001. The seats have Katzkin covers, something my wife talked me into, and I highly recommend for anybody with kids. The rest is the standard TRD Off-Road with a manual transmission because I like driving gears.

IMG_2181.jpg Craigslist score. $250.00. Old steel craft shell from Huntington Beach, EPA chased em out of business 10 years ago. Went to the local camper shell guy and bought new locks for the back window for $40 and aluminum tie down clamps for $5 each.
Been looking for a matching shell for over a year, finally gave up. My next truck is getting a snug top pro with the side doors.

What a bummer! I got rear-ended the other day – just enough to ruin the rear bumper – and it knocked my snug top camper About 2 inches to the back, luckily, instead of the front like yours

Looks like Snugtop is the only one that can put vented windoors on a shortbed. I ordered an ARE CX with that option and they told me it can't be done.

Maybe the '16 bed is slightly longer? I'll call them and inquire again.
