Tool bag / roll suggestions for 2nd gen Tacoma

    Looking to get a new setup for a tool bag in my new Tacoma. I am trying to keep as much stuff off the seats and the floors in the rear of the double cab. I would like to find a good way to store tools in the cab. I have found the item below that looks really nice.

    $119?? Ouch. I have a tool bag I bought from Harbor Freight on sale for $4.99. I keep it under the back seat on the driver's side. The bag you posted definitely looks nice though.

    Very nice bag but at a premium price. You could duplicate most of the functionality by buying pouches and a tool bag to hold them on Amazon. You could even throw the tool pouches in a backpack. Still reasonably functional at a fraction of the cost.

    Yes that bag is super salty in price. Looks like it might fit well in the space behind the seats though.

    I saw that yesterday as well. MUCH more attactive price point than the nice bag I found. Have you noticed your tools clank together?

    I could always see if I can find someone in my area who has an industrial sewing machine and make my own bags.

    In the tool bag, I have a variety of odds and ends: Baby wipes, duct tape, knife, flint & steel, emergency (space) blankets, hand warmers, etc. Behind the back seat on the drivers side I have a tool set.     No, the straps on the outside secure the roll. Like I said for 12.00, the material alone would almost cost that much.

    I have a small craftsman tool bag I got for less than $10. Its kind of my emergency bag with tools and supplies. Stays under the rear passenger seat. My work tools go in the bed under the tonneau. I certainly don't want those things flying around in the cab if I get in an accident.
