That's one thing I do miss - a bigger gas tank. Last truck had a 36 gallon tank. It was nice going 4 weeks on a single fill up. I'm lucky to get a full 2 weeks now.

I budget $60 per week and fill my tank every Friday, regardless of what my fuel level is. If I have leftover cash, I'll either put it towards repaying something I loaned against myself for, put it in my car fund, or put it towards the vacation fund.

On a side note, I bought a pair of new garage door openers from Sears this week, and got a bunch of those Shop Your Way points (a little over $50). I'd like to buy either tools or outdoor yard stuff, but I'm at a loss for ideas at the moment. Typically I'll only have a few dollars here and there, so I'll get something like a socket I'm missing in my set or a set of punches, etc. With this much I'd like get something I'd otherwise not buy.

    Any ideas?

200 mi/day??!!! I gotta hand it to you. My arse would be saddle sore with all that seat time every day. I'd have to get an air suspension seat like the big rigs...

Yeah most of my accounts are about 80-100 miles away, and I try to see 4-5 of them while I'm out

You've mentioned you are out this way often. Hey, you have to do whatever it takes to pay the bills! BTW! Don't forget to flip off that dealership for me that I had mentioned to you in a previous post, ok? :D

If I don't have to drive to a dart tournament/meeting or concert, I can fill up once every 2 weeks. No complaints.

I think the FJ has one of those 6 gallon gas cans for a fuel tank.

Ha I second this. Everytime it's on E and I fill up it only takes like 15gal, even though the manual says it has a 19gal tank. So it gets such bad mileage they put a 4 gal buffer in it:rofl:

Ah damn, those pesky 'other drivers'!

Sureeeeeeeee. And I can't now, I'm in the middle of nowhere.

It actually just uses a 2 liter bottle... In NY, I had to fill every other day. Spent $120 a week on fuel alone. The FJ tank is far too small for what that truck is... A brick with wheels.

I've gotten in the habit of filling the tank to the brim, just to not have to come back to the gas station so soon.

Morning, Meat Puppets. Happy Friday! :woot: :bananadance:

I filled up on Friday, drove to Rochester NH and back, drove to work and for errands all week, and I filled up again this morning. Still had 60 miles of range left when I tanked up. :D

Move to California, get a job at a bread place, steal some of their dough, move back to Maine, make bread.

Seems like a lot of work for good sourdough. I'm not that much of a carb addict...

Morning. Hung over wicked bad this morning. Thirsty Thursday and Candlebox unplugged concert which was somewhat dissapointing. I didn't buy tickets to hear some douchebag rant his political opinions.
