    Hi,

I have a 97 Tacoma, the turn lights stopped working. The switch is the culprit and I was going to swap it out but looks like I need to take the steering wheel off to do it. I searched some other posts and read a few times that there are supposed to be 2 screws that hold it in that you can remove without removing the wheel. The hazards are working and I have checked all the fuses and relays and they are all good.

I cannot for the life of me see how that is possible, there are 2 screws I can see on the backside of the connector but you would need a super small screwdriver to get them out. If anyone can help me out with some step by step or pictures I would be forever grateful.

    Thanks
    Shawn

First so you are aware, hazard lights run of different fuse than turn signal lights. Hazard is also horn fuse under the hood, turn fuse is inside left panel. Make sure you have power from the turn signal fuse.
I don't know exact procedure for replacing the combination switch but FSM asks to remove the steering wheel as everything is in the switch body there. :notsure:
