Best aggressive All terrain tire

I'm going to be needing some tires here pretty soon and just want to get some opinions and see what others are rockin. I do about 60% street 40% off road. Looking for a aggressive All terrain. I have BFGs KO's now. Let's here what you got to say...

ST Maxx would be hard to beat, could be the perfect tire for our truck.
Good grip, flex and tough.

Love my Michelin LTX AT2's

 

Had Duratracs. Loved 'em. I do a LOT of highway driving, but don't want to give up off road ability either. So I went with a M/T this time. Very happy with ON road characteristics....Cooper STT Pro's.

 

I currently have Yokohama geolander g015 is an at tire happy with them. I have a set of stt pro getting ready to put on after some cutting and trimming. Before I got the stt pro I was debating general grabber

 

S/T Maxx

 

Do they wear good? How's the on road ride?

 

I'd like to know how they ride on the highway too. I'm about to pull the trigger but want to make sure they balance well. I had a nightmare with a Chinese tire. These aren't Chinese right?

 

They drive great. They are E rated but ride smooth.
They ride smoother than the AT3s and have softer sidewalls.
They wear good, mine only have a few thousand miles, but my buddy had them on his Tunda and his 4Runner for years and they hold up good.
Slightly more wear than the AT3s but good.

AMERICAN MADE. no problems balancing.
They do have a softer side wall for off road so top speed may be 80 and cornering speed is lower than the AT3.
They are aggressive, so you can hear them but not bad, just enough to let you know you have some real tires on.
I loved the AT3 and these tires blow them away other than hwy speed/handling.
I go up north and run 34lbs I don't even air down. my AT3s were stiffer and I would go down to 28-30 and have to spin them through the mud.
Should have got these right away.
It's also a heaver but very tough tire. The good years are not as tough, lots of flats.

 

Toyo MT/R

 

On a budget, Cooper ATP's have been awesome for the value. Mine have handeled sand, mud, and rain. They aren't super agressive though if you want the "look" as well. If you don't mind spending a little extra then ST Maxx will hit the performance and look factors out of the park.

 

Toyo MTR was the only tire to survive worth a crap on the desert tank.
8000 lbs and over 1000 ft lbs of torque.

 

So if I don't tow anything do I need a E rating tire or is C ok?
