    Hello TacoWorld,

Been lurking around for a while, as I've got my heart set on getting a Tacoma. I've already learned lots from reading comments and exploring the forum; thanks for the education and guidance, and I look forward to learning a lot more!

I currently have visions of a Gen 1 TRD OR AC manual. If you've got eyes on one, I'd be thrilled to hear about it.

I'm excited to see what adventures people get up to with their friendly neighbourhood Tacos.

    Thanks!

    FWIW..
Ended up being a white 2001 AC TRD OR. The PO had already put Icon adjustables and UCAs in the front, and Alcan 8-pack in the back. American Racing 17's shod with freeway rubber (which will need a change soon). It's been pretty well-tended but still has some rough bits for a 17 year old machine. I have modest plans for any further modifications, as I don't plan on off-roading very hard or super often, but I also plan on gettin away from the pavement plenty. I expect I'll improve the stereo a bit, shower her with TLC, and then see what other opportunities to tinker arise. I'm always stoked to hear what thoughts anyone may have as I embark on my Taco adventure.

In the meantime, I'm in love.

Thanks y'all! It's due in large part to what I've learned lurking around here that I had a reasonable idea what questions to ask (not that I didn't get a bit carried away in my exuberance- I did not get a bargain! But I feel good that I also didn't get a lemon.) Thanks again!
