    Nothing worthy

Man, I haven't been up in Racehorse in years!!! It's on my list this summer before they ruin it for us.. My list is getting long.. lol
Just need to get that suspension figured out to benefit from the difficult locations.

Your knowledge is quite extensive with the politics of all this! Cudos, you must read a lot!
I plan to immerse myself in a lot of this, especially since were looking at some family property in the castle area.

I doubt they will have the trail system fully mapped and shut down by next year in Racehorse. At least that's my hope. I think creating the PLUZ is just the beginning of the process and they will have to spend another year making changes to the trail system so hopefully all will be well until 2019. Time will tell.

I'm only so in the know because I'm in 4 different offroad clubs. Each club gets a piece of information and has been passing it around. Lots of protests setup, which BTW our environment minster refuses to address or go near for fear of her life (her words, not mine), and petitions being handed around but so far we all seem to just be passengers along for the ride. What's worse is that certain groups, including the government, keep promising they will establish new trails in less sensitive areas even though the body doing the work, CPAWS, has designated most of Alberta that is public land as too sensitive. They want to set up even more parks and PLUZ's to protect those areas. They have no interest in creating a new trail system. They will continue to shut down trails while giving false promises until the process is complete or the government in power takes away their power. Their won't be any new trails, just a lost trail system that we can't access anymore.
