The 2nd Gen guys seem to like the WT over the Husky's. I have Husky's on my GMC, and they are ok.

Access Cab pricing is the same for both Husky's and WT $180 for front and back.

I thought the same thing so when I replaced the OEM, I only replaced the front set with Huskies so they match. The rears are too similar to spend that money to change out.

Passenger mat doesnt move anymore and the lip for the sidesills are larger so you get a better fit, no more gap.

I got mine from AutoAnything. Joined their mailing list, got a coupon, got into a chat with a sales rep (pretending to be torn between the Huskies and the WTs), got 15% off. It was around Black Friday, so they may have been more inclined to give discounts. Your results may vary.

Yes get the huskies and never look back, they're very rigid and molded exactly to the floor, they actually cover the entire space both on driver and passenger side, so there is no space for the passenger side to even slide, even if there was space they got cleats/spikes on the back side that dig into the floor, you can even use them to torture people.

Only down side I guess would be because they're so rigid, I think they're more plastic then rubber, if you ever wash them and wipe them down with some polish material to make them shiny, they might get really slippery. Weathertechs look cheap and ugly

I don't know anything about the husky. To the OP question, weather techs are worth the double from the factory because they cover all of the carpet. If your boots are covered in mud halfway up your calf you will need that coverage.

Have the Weathertechs. Love them. Props to WT for offering a 6MT custom fit option.

I replaced the OEM all weather mats with Weathertech. The Weathertechs are superior to the OEM in coverage and durability. Mine fit perfectly and were the same price as the comparable Husky.

Is there anywhere else besides "Auto Anything" that carried the mats?

I keep reading about WT being the more expensive option, but since there is a special GB for $150 wouldn't WT be the better deal? Even with the 10% off sale, Husky is still $180.

Husky weatherbeaters for sure. Weather tech passenger side still slides around and the huskys bottoms have the pointys that hold your floor mats in place. The oem mats were fine but i was really annoyed the rear and passenger mats slid around. I added mat clips to them

I didn't like my OEM mats since day one. Really regret my $100 spent. They DON'T fit snug around edges. There's a lot of gaps between mat edges and carpet. Especially annoying when you getting in the truck and catch on the bulging edge of the mat which makes the gap even bigger. Material ( rubber) is very light and doesn't lay down nicely. Like someone mentioned passenger side always slides around. Rear mat is a pain to take out. You will spill all the garbage on the floor. Very disappointing for the price.

I like the WeatherTech mats and had them also in my last Tacoma for several years. They take a lot of abuse and always clean up like new.

Don’t care how old the post is. Do the Husky’s stay in place? That passenger side OEM mat is just effing worthless.
