Question about speaker connections

westin side steps, black grille, oem skid plate, Pioneer AVIC-Z1000 Nav

I have a mini amp on my motorcycle. The end of the speaker uses an RCA connector to plug in to the amp. I need to replace the amp and now have one with red/black speaker connections. Question is if I cut of the RCA part and strip the wires back on the speakers, will i be able to just connect them to the red/black clip?

King 10" coilovers w/ resi. 3.5" over long travel kit. Factory spindles w/ ALLPRO gussets. Total Chaos tower gussets. Energy Poly cab mounts and steering rack mounts. Glassworks fenders and bedsides. Home fabbed bed cage. King 2.5x16 bypass shocks in the rear. DMZ long travel rear end. Race radio (2meter). Removed secondary carbon air filter. Exhaust dumped before the axle / no muffler. Phram fresh air cabin filter. K&N replacement filter, After market stereo, Grillcraft grill, custom fabled roof rack with 7" HID's, PRP race seats.

That makes sense to me. That's all it is... pos and neg. I don't think you could hurt anything trying it.
