I would like to get a set of floor mats for my 2015 Access Cab Tacoma with manual shift transmission that actually fit. I bought a set of Husky Liners but they had a lip over outside edge that caused me to catch my foot in them every time I went in or out of cab and also the clutch pedal hit the top edge as well and also they did not fit the area as well as the Husky Liners we have on our Honda Civic. They were sent back and I would still like a set but am afraid same problem exists with other brands as well. Does anyone with same style of truck - (Access with manual trans.) have a set that fits well without the lip and clutch problem. Thanks Jeff

What model/version Husky Liners did you buy? I've had no problems with mine (Original Floor Liner #35472 and #65472).

Many folks are also happy with WeatherTechs or OEM Toyota All-Weather Mats.

Mine were Husky Classics which I purchased around 1.5 years ago from Amazon and lost product #. They stated in ad they would work on manual trans with clutch pedal but I found out after buying, I would have to cut a slot in top where the clutch pedal was as it was hitting the liner and bending the liner plus binding the pedal. The outer lip where you get in stuck up almost an inch and always in the way and allows dirt to get in between sill and liner. The holddown pegs did not line up either so the liner would not lay flat. My Honda Civic liners where a perfect fit but these were terrible. I have the original Toyota winter and summer mats (the summer matts are a lot bigger than winter ones which should be the opposite) but they are a little small. I looked at a picture of the new Husky liners and they still have the outer lip - I wondered if there was a model where they bent over the door sill? - still looking. I don't know if Weathertech are compatible with clutch pedals but trying to find out? Jeff

    None so far
Check out WeatherTech. Good product and two types of mats. One with the lip to contain spills and one not. Made with thick rubber. I have the ones without the lip, but I plan to buy the lipped ones in the near future. My Tacoma is a crew cab with auto.

Interesting. Mine are also Husky's classic/original liners, and I also have a 6MT. I'm not, however, having any problems with clutch pedal interference and I never cut any kind of slot in them. Admittedly, they're designed to hold a bit of liquid, so they're notched to sit on top of the retaining clip rather than perforated for it.

WeatherTech is great but if you want to go a little cheaper but still get good quality, Aries 3D mats are pretty good too, about to install in my 07

Thanks I will look into the lipped ones fro Weather Tech. I am beginning to think either my set I bought were either faulty or wrong for this truck as others don't seem to have this problem. They were marked on box to fit 2004 to 2015 Tacoma's - Jeff

I am beginning to think that the set I purchased was either faulty or for the wrong truck but the box said 2004 to 2015 Tacoma's but it could have been packaged wrong at factory. I don't know if you had this problem with the factory winter mats as well but I get my heel caught in the coarse horizontal ribs and sometimes it is a pain to release clutch with heel caught in the ribs and look like an amateur when trying to leave at stoplight. I will try to find another Tacoma and see how they fit. These custom fit floorliners are one of the best mods you can do as they really save the interior. My 6 year old Honda's floor still looks like new and I keep my vehicles at least 12 years. - Jeff

Mine had lumps for the attachment holes just like the ones in the Honda Civic but the lump did not match up with the pin exactly so was offset not letting the liner lay flat. With what you are saying, probably I got the wrong set. This set did not fit well so I sent back and am using a set of used large truck rubber matts which I trmmed to fit but looks like crap. - Jeff

Something definitely doesn't seem right with that. I recommend trying another set. I wanted grey ones, so my part numbers are #35472 and #65472. (#65472 doesn't appear to be available any longer.) Black ones (#35471 and #65471) are, however, still listed.

I had the thick rubber Weathertech mats in my old 96 taco and loved them. When I bought my 2013 I splurged for the laser fitted ones and love them even more. They're not cheap, but you'll have them as long as you have the vehicle.

Are you opposed to OEM? I pulled my OEM gray mats out of my 2010 when I bought it and put in black TRD mats just because I liked the look.

I think you might have the wrong Husky liners. I have the Huskys in my manual transmission truck and they sit up a lot higher in the front than the Weathertechs so as not to catch on the clutch.

My clutch pedal isn't even close to being able to grab onto them.

This is the passenger side, but they fit like a glove in my truck.
