Just shocking how the domestic manufacturers abandoned manual. Toyota is out front with more options for stick, but it has been noted before, not too much love from Toyota for access cabs- power sliding rear window, roof racks, JBL upgrade etc not available...a shame since they are the more classic pickup design.

That truck would easily make more money here in the US too.

You cant get a DCSB Sport MT here either. I wonder if it's an allotment sort of thing, a customs thing, or just something really really stupid.

If someone wanted to go to Canada to purchase the OR AC MT, what would be the consequences when bringing it back to the US?

A lot of headaches and paperwork.

You'd have to buy it used or have a Canadian address to buy it new to start things off.

Then you'd have the hassle of getting it imported

I've heard it's not feasible. Best bet is buy a 2015 in that config or hold onto whatever year your 1st or 2nd gen is until Toyota produces that config stateside. Frustrating to say the least but they're saving me from having a new payment ;)

Access cab for me. No use for double cab: one kid is gone and I don't want the one still around to get too cozy. Me and my wife most of the time. Back seats can be used over short distances. Wife's vehicle used for longer trips or more than one passenger. Makes for a wide, clean and safe storing place for groceries, etc. Overall esthetics of the vehicle is better. Lower priced.

We absolutely love our access cab! Plenty of room for me, my wife, and pup.

You can get the access in manual, it just has to be a sport. I had an 07 OR MT and upgraded to this. It has a more refined feel to the MT in the 3rd gen, I really enjoy driving it.
