Unfortunately after buying my light bar I found out Colorado requires a plate on the front bumper. Fortunately! I found these low mount plate brackets. Super high quality and fits like OEM. Perfect find to an annoying problem! Loves this forum!!

Just cut up some flat bar today to make more brackets. And just bought a drill press last week so the countersink holes are looking really nice!

As you can see it continues to hold up, unlike my plate which has rubbed in a bunch of snow banks and snow piles. It's a sickness I have, love driving through snow.

Oh and just installed the new grill today.

Yep, going to work on getting it painted, and was thinking about Finding something to give some more support, but I would probably end up breaking that next winter.

I can always make a bottom cross member for you so that you have support on the bottom of the plate as well. Pretty easy and pretty quick to do. Just let me know.

The bottom cross member might be a great strengthener, but how would that affect the cost?

I have never had anyone request a lower brace on the bracket. I think for most people it is probably unnecessary. Unless you like plowing through snow banks! The cost would not be too much higher since the piece would not be all that big. Probably $3-4 more. The bigger issue would be that you would have to drill two new holes into the two upright parts of the existing bracket. That is not particularly hard to do but for most people it would not be something that they would want to do.

Fantastic! Glad to hear it. Please take a pic of him receiving the bracket. I would love to see him receiving it! Very nice of you to get it for him also!

Don't hesitate. These are great brackets, and Aaron is extremely fast with the shipping.
