    Stoptech and EBC are popular brands. OEM is durable. Wagner Platinum have worked well for me on the past.

    I'd always go OEM for brakes. Not an area to cheap out on. When fractions of a second could save you.
    When I worked for a dealer, we often received cars with squeaking brakes from using cheap pads. Swapped them out with OEM Toyota and good to go.

    OEM are good;

    but I'd recommend Hawk LTS Brake Pads; They bite so much better. Upgraded to Hawks pads 25k miles ago and so far no problems and I really like the added stopping power. I tow quite a few vehicles around on a tow dolly; the OEM's previously worked okay but after a lot of stop and go traffic you can really feel they start to fade(especially with 3000-4000 extra pounds pushing you around from behind)

    Going with the Hawks really help; bites so much better and no worries about fading.

    OEM is good. I like Hawk and EBC but some tend to have more brake dust and sometimes noise over OEM especially when breaking in (then they comparable)

    Especially rotors I usually go OEM or Brembo. No slots or dimples they just chew up pads

    Were the rotors checked for the proper thickness to reuse?

    I always use Brembo rotors. Haven't tried the Hawk LTS pads yet, but have used their other pads on other cars with great results.

    A few OE parts from fancy trucks
    Of course having good brakes is important. But what is it that your OE brakes don't do that you need? IE is there a need to 'upgrade'?

    How many miles on the truck? Why do you think you need rotors?

    Keep in mind braking ability is limited by tire grip. If you can lock up the tires (kick in ABS in most cases I guess) the brakes have done their duty, and the rest is up to the tires.

    I have these, waiting top put them on. So I gather you approve of these breaks. I purchased them because of what I tow. Nice to know others are using these breaks.
