    Interesting....

It does make you wonder but somehow I doubt it would be that simple. I did order the HiLux switch. Guess if I take out the old one I can play around a bit and figure it out. Thanks for the link!

After about 12 hours with them the one "loose" knob was driving me nuts. I ended up pulling the clips from the old ones and drilling the new ones. Much better.

Does anyone know offhand if the bulb that's in the indicators for the panel switches are the same size as the HVAC panel bulbs? If so, this part number is supposed to be for an amber bulb 90011-01058. Might be better than using LEDs that don't fit, or painting the rings orange.

added these to my 2012 DCSB OR... they look great! a bit of teflon tape firmed up the knobs... just wrap the shaft!
Question: the blower control seems less bright than the other knobs... anyone else notice this?

The same shit everyone else has.
I tried using red T4 LED bulbs. They matched well, but weren't bright enough. They don't work well with the diffuser in the hvac panel.

    Solution number 2 worked better.

    Before -

    3CC61DDD-9CE2-4121-B6A5-A5CBB698CC79_zps_dbfd81581c21c1851dbdb49d5b8c1eee9a8dda03.jpg

    Tinting -

    After -

Used plain ol red spray paint. Brushed it on kinda thin so it would be transparent. Matches much better then it did before. I may add a bit more to the middle one to darken it a bit.

Also, if anyone is interested in trying some red T4 LEDs you can have mine.
