Let's see the pictures of the worst vehicle hacks that you've done or found on a used vehicle that you bought.
My previous owner got creative with drywall screws and some kind of plastic filler.

No pics, but I did some home grown bondo work on an old truck when I backed into a parked 5 ton truck. End result was very amatuer looking. On different old truck, I bent the front bumper up when I got it caught on something. After a session of strapping it to a tree and backing up and then pushing on the tree with the bumper, I eventually got it straitened out-sort of.

My current Tacoma had some electrical shit going on with the drivers side window. Completely at random the master switch would lose power. This is like due to issues with the two different remote starts that have been in it. I eventually said fuck it and found a switched source of 12V and bypassed it all. Looks fine from the outside, but the next owner is going to pull the door panel off and be like WTFo_O

My brother bought a 2002 Mustang GT from a 20-something kid who "modded" the intake with a home made HAI.

To add insult to injury the MAF adapter he used had a 65 mm bore--the MAF is 82 mm. I'm sure it sounded (to the kid) as though it had added power...

Lol, electrical nightmares are some of my faves. I was installing a new stereo in my friends old Capri one time when smoke started billowing out of the dashboard vents. Luckily there were no flames but about 50% of the dash wiring was roasted by a bunch of twisted together and left bare wires.
