I don't guess I'll mess with this after all. Like I said I just had the thought about doing this. Couple of things, I looked at different tires and realized how much I'd still be having to spend, and on top of that I just ordered a new Kenwood HU so I definitely can't spend anymore now.

Bought a new Kenwood DDX374BT and installed it with the idatalink maestro kit. Loving it! Got the bu camera wired into it, now I can wirelessly stream my music, my gps will now play through the Bluetooth, the maestro kit allows me to view some data on screen like tire pressure/temperatures and more. I can even hit a button on the hu to turn on the camera without shifting into reverse. Only thing is it won't allow me to turn it on while driving which I would like to be able to do for when towing my trailer.

I love it so far. It had a couple of little quirks I don't like but overall I can live with. It is a little slow to boot up and the Bluetooth signal is kinda weak for whatever reason.

It's $250 on Crutchfield right now but the install gear was kinda pricey. $389 shipped for all of it including instructions, but mine is the JBL which I believe runs the cost up some.

I've wanted something like this ever since my wife got her Sienna a couple of years ago which has a nice touchscreen. And I was :jellydance:

Since I got the new hu I now don't have a need for my iPod interface. Not sure what it's worth so if interested make an offer. Not even sure if anyone still uses the old style but I believe the cable can be adapted or changed out but can't confirm this. USA Spec PA15-Toy Would like to keep it local, don't want to deal with shipping.

Can't remember if I've asked (pretty sure I have) but anybody know of any good lake spots to camp next to? Like roll up with RTT and a kayak and be able to camp? Don't really care if I have to pay or be somewhat next to people (rather not, but it's Georgia and we're getting crowded).

Gainesville area has quite a few- holler if you decide to do it! Also look up Dockery Lake- I've been wanting to camp there for over a year but haven't had the time. It's a small lake, but there are trout and bass in it. Beautiful in the mountains.

That's what I was thinking. Lake Blue Ridge correct?

I'll have to look into it more as the temps rise, camping at Trey won't cut it with the heat

    Yea blue ridge lake.

Morganton point is pay to stay. But there are a few places around the lake away from town that are free

    .
Did a portion of the "rough edge" trail below Pine mountain on Saturday. Have been on this many times on the rzr and atv but didn't know it had a name. Description is spot on if you look at the trail registry. Ruts and washouts along with some tight spots where down trees have been partially removed. After a good rain it would be 4wd and challenging.

I was so fortunate- I normally go that route coming home from Tallahassee, I would have been in that traffic but for some reason I decided to get off 75 in Forsyth and go through Monticello, Monroe, Winder....
