Ok, I've searched for 2 days to try to find all my questions before tackling this mod but can't seem to get all the info I need to make an informed plan and was wondering if you guys wouldn't mind helping me out (I apologize for these questions being redundant and elementary).

    1.) Will a 2009 tail gate handle definitely fit a 2007?

2.) If so, what is the part number for the 2009 tailgate handle?

3.) If so, what is the part number for the 2009 OEM back up camera?

4.) If so, what is the part number for the short wiring harness from the back up camera to just beyond the tail gate?

5.) If so, what is the part number for the wiring harness from the back up camera harness to the cab (double cab, long bed)?

6.) If the 2009 tail gate handle, OEM camera, short wiring harness and the long wiring harness are all purchased and run to the cab - are there any other parts that would need to be purchased to complete the install? (I plan on connecting it to a Kenwood HU.)

7.) If yes to #1, do I really need the short and long wiring harness if I'm connecting to the Kenwood HU? If no, then what would run to the cab? (I assume RCAs).

TIA for you patience with a noob, I really appreciate it!

The camera itself is around $600.

You could purchase a Pop&Lock for a 2009 and it comes with a place to mount the camera. They cost around $60. You would need to call Pop&Lock to find out if it would fit.

I've seen the short wire on eBay but I can't remember how much it costs.

I've never seen the long wire harness for sale. It's likely included as part of a larger harness?

    I've heard these are good.

I just don't know how you would run the rca cable from the tailgate to the body to the cab. The tailgate moves up and down so it's a little risky there.

I'm looking to do this mod and hook up to my double din Pioneer x940bt.
