I am amazed how much nicer of a vehicle this 4R is. Everything that bugged me about the Tacoma is different on this vehicle.

I got an SR5 premium in white.

I had a 17 TRD OR and while I like the looks of it, the back seat was too small for a family of four, the wind noise and transmission shifting/hunting were driving me crazy. I'd buy one again, but only a manual trans...

The Dealer gave me 33k for the truck (I paid 35k 6 months ago) and I paid 35k for the 4R. Not too much of a loss but I am much happier now!

I agree it's one of the most solid SUVs around. Especially since many have gone to unibody. I think we will be keeping our Tacoma and the 4Runner for a long time.

I had an auto trans, that was my biggest issue. I think it would be a great truck with a manual trans.

Yeah it is. But since it's a Toyota and the price I got it for couldn't pass it up. My tacoma is pushing 350k miles

Very nice, Plan on doing the same thing next year with my 15 TRD Sport. I should get top dollar for my 15 with keeping the miles down. Turned down a 17 Pro forerunner could have had. Taking a chance on a 2018. What suspension do you have on your TRD forerunner?
