Can you make some sliders for 2016 4runner trail with KDSS?

 

Anyone know if sliders from a 2nd gen DCLB would fit on a third Gen DCSB?

 

I doubt it. That would mean the truck got longer on the 3rd gen. I doubt that happened.

 

They didn't change the wheel base between 15 and 16. Short bed wheelbase 127.4 long bed 140.6. So the wheel bases are 13.2" different. I'm wondering how much longer the long bed slider is vs short bed slider.

 

The DCSB sliders are 82 inches long and DCLB are 96 inches. Not much difference between the 2nd and 3rd gen in length.

 

Hey buddy, wondering if I can get back in line for some sliders for my 1st gen DBLCB?

 

Andrew, what to talk about some sliders for a 14 DCSB. I will be in Az for the next couple months. How do we work this out?

Andrew Can you make 1 inch diameter flag pole holders that bolt to the inside of the bed metal railing for 2nd gens. I need two and how much would they cost.. Also need to hook up with ya again about a whip if you still make them....

 

Fundillo, Looks Great. Are these the kick out sliders or straight? I am on Andrews lists for set of Kick out sliders.

 

So what do all you prefer on your sliders, Kick out or straight? Do they both seem to provide the same protection?

 

Adrian's were kickouts, and also have a 15 degree uptilt which is a standard feature for all my sliders. The kickouts definitely provide more protection compared to the straight, and can be used to pivot your rear tire around trail-side obstacles that could damage bedsides or rear wheels/tires. I can tell you that out of all the sliders I've made and installed, more than 95% of them were kickout style.

I still love my straight sliders.. they get used and hold up great! kickout shmickout.. lol

 

Yours are the only surviving pair of prototypes too!

 

oh yeah, that's right! I need to repaint them. they are definitely showing some age. Sand pits them like crazy.
